ReStore Volunteers

Habitat Restores sell new and gently used quality household and building products. Products that might otherwise needlessly end up in landfills are purchased by builders, contractors and the general public. ReStores sell everything from furnishings and lighting, to sporting equipment, home décor and art – not just building supplies. We test, assemble, clean and display these items for sale to the general public. We provide customer service and operate the cash. We accept donations and assess their condition. We even pickup and drop off donations.

Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North operates ReStores in Midland, Orillia, Bracebridge, Huntsville and Sudbury. Whether you like to be out front serving customers; in the back in the workshops, on the road picking up donations or helping merchandise displays there is sure to be an opportunity for you!

The store is staffed by a combination of full-time and part-time staff and volunteers. Many of our partner families do some of their sweat equity in our ReStores. We also support a number of community service and employment/re-training programs. If you think the ReStore is the place for you to get involved, contact us today!
